This isn’t adding up…

During the week, the British government extended the furlough scheme yet again. It now runs until 30th September this year. Previous deadlines include October 31st, March 31st and April 30th.

A few weeks earlier, the British government also said it hopes to open nightclubs in England by June 21st.

The fact the furlough scheme is being extended until the autumn suggests even the government are starting to see what way the wind is blowing on this.

Am I right or am I wrong?
