Several DJs have spent the past few weeks telling everyone to be kind as nightclubs reopened across England. But which British DJ has not been practising what he has preached through his social media platforms?

The DJ in question was due to appear in what I’ll simply refer to as one of the biggest cities in the UK last weekend – and appear he did. Infact, he delivered an extremely good set and even spoke to a few clubbers afterwards. In the public eye, he was polite and even quite modest.

In private? According to my source, his rider insisted on three bottles of Evian water kept at exactly 5°C. When he opened his first bottle, he spat it out on the floor and proceeded to go “absolutely apes***”, ranting at a poor member of staff that “do you f***ers know who I am?”.

Hardly consistent with his public messages which specifically mention being kind to workers…
