Last Monday, I reported that Chester Police have their own dedicated Twitter account for all matters related to Creamfields. I didn’t believe it when I was first told about it either, but it’s true. Sadly, I still don’t know exactly what was inside that empty Tupperware box they talked about – rest assured I’ll bring you this important piece of breaking news if I ever find out.
Anyway, they’ve been busy over the past few days patrolling the festival itself. Amidst the odd picture with festival goers, they’ve also been responding to messages on the Twitter account. For example, a gentleman called Will Broom asked them last week whether they “volunteer to do this because they like the music or do they get nominated”. To which Creamfields Police responded with “A bit of both”.
Elsewhere, they’ve been tweeting about one of the pooches at the festival – PD Jake. You can see him here…
PD Jake has been a real asset sniffing out anything that didn’t smell right, and a real hit with the @Creamfields team! #ProjectServator pic.twitter.com/ibIOeYI0Kf

Well, I certainly wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of him, would you? In their words, Jake is responsible for “sniffing out anything that didn’t smell right” and is apparently very popular with the staff at the festival. My favourite reply to this tweet? This very British one…
Creamfields Police have sadly not responded to this one at the time of publishing, and are pretty unlikely to…
