Bootleggers need not be Nervous

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. It appears that Nervous Records aren’t happy about bootleggers making clothes with seemingly unauthorised use of the Nervous logo. I sympathise – but is this Facebook post really the best way to go about expressing this unhappiness?

A few emails to the legal departments, and sometimes it doesn’t even need to specifically go there, would have probably sufficed. Advertising where you can buy bootlegged Nervous items doesn’t seem a sensible strategy.

Mind you, the rest of their sales strategy – which mostly consists of label boss Mike Weiss standing next to at least one lady wearing next to no clothes – seems little better either…
