For reasons I should think are blindingly obvious, I’m not going to make any comment on the legal trouble that Erick Morillo has found himself in. Regardless of anyone’s opinion on the man, he remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and I’m sure he’s as keen as anyone for this matter to be resolved – one way or another.

That said, I can’t help but mention whenever these things happen, there tends to be a fair bit of soul searching from other DJs, some of whom have found themselves in situations that sound frighteningly similar to this one. Their conspicuous silence on these matters is usually a clue…
