What DO you have to do to be dropped by a record label?

You won’t get dropped by your record label if you decide that Covid-19 regulations don’t apply to you. You won’t get dropped if you’re a drug addict who is destroying yourself and is a liability to herself.

No, it seems there are only two ways to get dropped by a record label. One is to basically have really poor sales figures or poor streaming figures. The other? Using a racial slur.

Or if you’re accused of “horrific abuse”, in the case of Marilyn Manson. I wonder if Derrick May is listening…
