As far as surprises go, this one is about as low down the list as you can get. Many people appear to think they have the divine right to post whatever they like on social media. They almost seem to believe it’s one of their human rights, enshrined in law, to post what they wish under the name of freedom of expression.

Wrong, I’m afraid. Whilst there are a lot of things you can discuss on social media, they don’t take kindly to people using their networks to post misinformation and half-truths. So given this is what Danny Rampling has specialised in over the past 18 months or so, I’m amazed that this hasn’t happened sooner.
Twitter got fed up of Rampling months ago.

I understand he’s on a permanent ban from the website. And it appears that Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram has had enough of his nonsense as well. I have previously been told Rampling has a number of strikes against his account – and earlier this week, he posted an Instagram story which confirmed he has one dating back to September 21st this year.

So not only do you currently receive a warning when you try to follow Danny Rampling on Instagram – but he’s also been sent a message which says “You could lose access to your account in the future”. Here’s the screenshot of what he put up…

By the looks of it, Rampling has requested that all of these strikes against his account are reviewed.   It remains to be seen just how much longer he’ll be allowed to remain on Instagram, his favourite social media outlet…
