I’m always happy to be sent news about DJs, producers and other people in the house music world. I get a fair amount of it sent to me. Some people seem to think that this page is partly dedicated to creating mischief. To be fair, they’re not entirely wrong…

What I won’t do, however, is start publishing things here about things that I deem to be private. For example, I’m more than happy to write about someone who engages in something like homophobia or sexual impropriety, because these kinds of things go totally against what house music stands for.

But a person’s sexual proclivities are otherwise their own business. Which is why I won’t be telling you the story about a certain DJ and producer who’s been in the game for quite a while. The guy has a fetish for men’s feet, and someone wrote to me urging me to “expose” him.

I don’t think so. Whilst I certainly have no interest in anything like that, I don’t think I have any business potentially embarrassing someone in such a public manner over something that’s ultimately a personal and private manner.

In other words, go send your muck somewhere else…
