Ears To The House is deeply saddened to hear of the news this evening that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. And although the death of a 96-year old is not exactly the greatest shock to the system, it is nonetheless a sorrowful occasion.
There will be many, both in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth where she will be missed. In Britain in particular, she was one of very few constants throughout her 70 year reign – the world now is a very different place to the one back in 1952.
