Here’s Three They Made Earlier: Valentine’s Day Special

Time now for a special treat on this Tuesday evening – a Valentine’s Day edition of Here’s Three They Made Earlier. We’re starting this rather loved-up edition with a 2007 release from the notorious Om Records – “Breathe You In” by Samantha James. A few decent mixes are provided, but it’s the Johnny Fiasco interpretation we’ve opted for here.

Next up, a painfully obvious song for today – but let’s face it, Valentine’s Day is anything but subtle. Originally released in 1991 and remixed numerous times since, The Source and Candi Staton’s “You Got The Love” has one of the most well known vocals in recent decades. This particular remix from 1996 is by Terry Farley and Pete Heller. Just be warned, the bass is heavy on this one…

And finally, a record with a curious artist name – Chez Damier Featuring Antonie. Now, Antonie just happens to be Anthony Pearson, and Chez Damier also happens to be Anthony Pearson. Oddities aside, this is deep house from 1997 which also had some production work by Marc Kinchen – who by this point had decided to switch off the MK Dubs conveyor belt. JT Donaldson reworks this nicely…

Regular service resumes next Monday.
