Now Jeff Mills is taking his band Tomorrow Comes The Harvest on tour to plug their next six track album – but their “world tour” only consists of European dates…

Say what you like about Jeffrey Eugene Mills – and Ears To The House has had plenty to say in the past – but there’s no denying his hard work ethic. Even now, when his bank account is the healthiest it’s been for many years – thanks to very high-paying gigs like MDL Beast and the Pyramids of Giza – he shows no sign of slowing down.

And now it appears he’s ready to go back out onto the road yet again – this time, with company. Like an ageing rocker, he’s got the old band back together, and thus, Tomorrow Comes The Harvest are due promoting their new six-track album “Evolution”.

However, anyone taking a look at their poster for this “world tour 2023-24” might be left a bit baffled – and it’s not just by the fact that none of the three members could be bothered to try and smile for the photo…

It appears the world now only consists of Europe. Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, France, and the UK are all included – but in a world which has seven continents, only featuring dates for a world tour in one of those continents seems… odd, to say the least.

That said, there could be a reason for this – one of the band’s original founding members died three years ago, and this is the first time they’ve performed without him. Tony Allen died in April 2020 from an abdominal aortic aneurysm – Mills described him as “the best drummer that has ever lived” and who made “rhythms and patternsso complex and on such a high level of communication, there are not words yet created to describe what he created.”.

Here’s previews from the album in question…

The tour starts on July 20th and the album will be out on Axis Records on vinyl in September…
