The makers of the film God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines must be wondering when on earth they’re going to catch a lucky break. Because since their movie, 12 years in the making, premiered, the only people giving it any real praise so far are the Detroit Free Press – and they sponsored the movie’s premiere in the city.
As we’ve said before, Ears To The House can’t make a comment on the film itself – quite simply, we haven’t seen it yet. One of our Detroit sources who attended the premiere on Thursday night described it as “utter crap” and “the same tired bull****”, but we remain happy to wait to see it before passing judgement.
