Ears To The House is saddened to report this evening on the death of British DJ Stu Allen. We understand he had been suffering with cancer for almost a year at this stage – and although he’d subsequently scaled down his commitments, he never actually stopped working entirely.
He was probably better known in recent years for his role in the hardcore movement, but was previously an instrument character in spreading house music to Britain in the 1980s. We shall have a more detailed article about him on the site tomorrow.
