Outrageous! Judge Jules isn’t the money spinner he once was, laid bare…

Time was that being Judge Jules meant comfortably getting a five figure appearance fee at whatever venue wanted him – and they happily paid that money, because there was no denying his talent as a DJ and track selector.

Nowadays? Not so much, although these earnings are not to be sniffed at. According to NMP Live, his standard fee nowadays is somewhere between £6,000 and £10,000.

Given the fact that nightclubs are still closed, Jules has had to earn his money elsewhere – he’s doing a socially distanced, sit down job at South Parade Peer in Portsmouth on the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May.

A necessary step due to the pandemic, or an almighty step down from the superclubs he frequented in the 90s? You can judge that one yourselves. All I know is the judge won’t budge – mostly because he’ll have a Covid marshall jobsworth all over him if he does…
