Last Monday, Ears To The House reported on Peggy Gou’s less than ideal weekend – covering details of how her PR people were still getting results over her latest release, but how health problems had led to her cancelling her appearance at Manchester’s Warehouse Project last Saturday.
This weekend, so far, is shaping up a little bit better – but not much. Whilst there are mercifully no new health issues, there are photoshoots to be published. Let’s not forget that Gou is just as much a businesswoman as she is a DJ – and one of the ways she promotes herself is through her fashion design work.
With that in mind, she recently posed for photographs for W – a fashion magazine founded in New York in 1972, but with a number of regional versions across the world. And it’s the South Korean version that’s published the pictures – alongside an article, naturally. Gou proudly shared some of the photos on her socials yesterday…
The first two pictures are nothing out of the ordinary for anyone who’s seen Gou’s past modelling photos – but the third sticks out like a sore thumb. We’re not quite sure if this was an attempt at a more suggestive image, but we don’t think it works – Gou’s facial expression just strikes us as awkward here.
A rare misstep for someone who’s normally very cautious with the photos of her that are used in any kind of publicity material…
